The General Assembly is one of our main highlights of the year. By tradition, it is held during the Easter holidays and consists of a program lasting several days.
On Fridays, the actual General Assembly takes place, in which an annual report of the previous year and a forecast for the coming year are presented. Saturdays and Sundays are each themed with a certain topic. The program usually consists of exclusive presentations, interesting workshops, discussion groups (in small groups and in panel discussions) and film screenings. During these two days, our aim is to provide our members the possibility to learn more about Tibet, the TYAE, as well as themselves. The member’s conscious examination of the Tibet issue from different perspectives is one of the association’s utmost concerns.
